Dear Friends, Thank you all once again for continuing to support the Aztec Boys & Girls Club through our Harley Davidson raffles, 50/50 raffles and with your generous donations.   Your investment allows us to continue to provide a safe, positive and fun place for our community’s children to be when they are not in school.  Because of wonderful and caring people like you we have grown from a little after school program for 25-30 kids daily to two facilities  where we provide recreational , educational and healthy programs for over 150 kids each day after school and 75 kids a day, all day long in the summer months.

I have been with the Aztec Boys & Girls Club for 14 years now and I am so honored to have been part of this organization.   I know that we have truly made a difference in so many young people’s lives and it is supporters like you that have made it all possible.  Our fundraising efforts have truly become “friend raising” opportunities and I look forward to hearing from so many of you each year.

The Aztec Boys & Girls Club’s Board of Directors, Employees, Members and I wish each of you the happiest of holiday seasons and a peaceful and prosperous new year.

Joy Nee,
Chief Professional Officer,
Aztec Boys & Girls Club

The essence of a Boys & Girls Club is defined by four key characteristics:

  1. Dedicated Youth Facility designed solely for youth programs and activities
  2. Open when kids have free time and need positive, productive outlets.
  3. Full-time, trained youth development professionals as role models and mentors
  4. Available/Affordable to All Youth.  We reach out to kids who cannot  afford, or may lack access to, other community programs.

Our Membership fees are intentionally kept low so that every child can attend the Aztec Boys & Girls Club and our Teen Center. Our annual fees are just $10 per child per year, but still there are many parents who cannot afford for their children to belong.

Please consider even a small donation to the Membership Fees Scholarship fund.  It can make a huge difference in the life of a child.

YOY is our premier recognition program for Club members, promoting service to Club, community and family;  academic success; strong moral character; life goals; and poise and public speaking ability.  Local Clubs like the Aztec Boys & Girls Club recognize their Youth of the Year. The Aztec Boys & Girls Club’s winner receives a $500 scholarship from the Club and goes on to compete in the state competition. State winners each receive a $1,000 scholarship and participate in regional competitions.  5 regional winners each receive a $10,000 scholarship and compete on the national level.  The National Youth of the Year winner receives a $50,000 scholarship and is installed by the President of the United States.

Please consider a donation to the Aztec Boys & Girls Club’s Youth of the Year Scholarship Fund and help us to open the door to a young person’s future.

Our Summer Program fills a gap left vacant because of lack of programming in the schools during the summer months and the increase in the necessity single parent households and the necessity of both parents working year-round.  Through participation in games, crafts, activities and projects members develop sensitivity to their peers and to their environment and acquire a fuller understanding of how personal actions impact themselves and other people.  We are open for 10.5 hours each day and provides lunch, snacks, activities and field trips for the low cost of  $300 for the entire Summer Program.
Please consider making a donation to the Summer Program Scholarship Fund.

Aztec Boys & Girls Club

Congratulations to all of our winners and a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who purchased tickets for this raffle. It is because of you that we are able to continue to offer the wonderful programs that we do for the youth of our community. Without you purchasing our raffle tickets we wouldn't have the wonderful facilities that we have and we wouldn't be able to offer the great programming with the professional staff that we have at our Club. There were well over a thousand winners in this raffle. The lucky six whose tickets were pulled from the tumbler and each and every member of the Aztec Boys & Girls Club. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU.

Since 1997 we have been holding raffles for both public enjoyment and improving the club. We started with our Harley Davidson raffle in 1997 and have now expanded to raffling off several different motorcycles every year including Road King Classics, Softail Classics, Streetglide Classics and more. Then in 2009 we started our 50 50 Raffle, where money earned by the raffle is split between the winner and the club. We hope to see you at the next one of our raffles.
